About the hotel
The House dates from 1727 and was formerly the principal residence within the village. There are 12 individually styled, non-smoking rooms, which now include 2 de-luxe rooms with aqua massage baths. Many have views either over the gardens or toward Cross Fell, the highest peak in the Pennines, which dominates the skyline to the North.
